Sr. Project Fostering Program

This program is designed specifically for Seniors in High School who need to complete a volunteer project for graduation. The fostering program allows the student to foster a shelter animal in their home for a specific length of time. As our age requirement for fostering is 21, a parent or guardian would need to sign the animal out for foster and remain the supervising adult for the entire term of foster. The parent or guardian will ultimately be held responsible for the animal’s welfare. Animals are placed into foster for one of three reasons; health issues, behavior issues, or space issues. You will be provided the proper resources for the care of the animal you are fostering. This project will require a 1- hour Orientation before fostering and all foster homes must first be approved as an acceptable environment for fostering.
