Super Seven Pit Bulls
All of the Pit Bulls that are available for adoption at the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society have passed a behavior evaluation
known as the SAFER test.  Once they have passed their evaluation they then go through the Meet Your Match Canine-Ality test
which gives us a better idea of the dog’s personality. This then allows us to match the dog with an adopter that has a lifestyle
that meets the dog’s needs and energy level.

All of the Pit Bulls at the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society have a seven week obedience class included in their adoption fee. 
This allows them to learn proper manners and socialization skills. We also have a new class starting in February called
Bully Breed Ambassadors.  This class is specifically designed for owners of bully breed dogs.  This class is designed to bring
out the best in your bully.  It will help you teach your dog to be an ambassador of the breed by using positive training techniques.

The Western Pennsylvania Humane Society has started a special program for its Pit Bull.  This program is called the Super Seven.
In this program a special group of Pit Bulls has been carefully chosen to help promote the positive attributes of the Pit Bull. 
These seven are good will ambassadors and are undergoing extensive training with the Dream Team.  They have been hand picked
to renew and restore faith and hope in the breed. The intense training will allow them to become familiar with the
basic obedience commands as well as highlight their sparkling personalities.  Through this special program for the
best of the best we will be able to once again fight the good fight and prove that Pit Bulls can be well mannered family friends.

Ruby A103983
Ruby is one of the most valuable gems you will ever find.  She is an active gal and would make a terrific jogging partner.  She does
calm down nicely and will surely wiggle her way into your heart.  When she sees a familiar face her eyes light up and smile.

Penelope A112542
Penelope is quite the wiggler once she is out of her cage.  She enjoys nuzzling up to that special someone on a crisp autumn evening.
Penelope loves people and will do best in a cat free household.  She seems to enjoy canine companionship and may like to have a
canine friend at home.  If you are searching for a true best friend to share your secrets with Penelope is the gal for you!

Mason A103177
Mason is the class clown.  He always looks like he is about to play a practical joke on someone.  He loves to play keep away and will
prance around with his tennis ball in his mouth trying to get your attention.  He gets so excited to meet people that he wiggles so hard
he almost bends in half.  Mason is a good will ambassador and just wants to make everyone happy.  If you are searching for a fun filled
addition to your family Mason is the one for you

Sadie A110119
Sadie is one of the sweetest butt wiggler’s around.  If you come to visit her you will most likely find her at the front of her
kennel trying to wiggle her way into your heart.  She has a terrific demeanor and doesn’t quite understand why everyone isn’t here
to love her.  She will be an awesome addition to most households.  If you are searching for that special one, search no further,
Sadie is the one. 

Zandee A113524
Zandee is such a terrific dog.  First and foremost this dog loves people.  She wants to be with you all the
time and doesn’t believe that she is a dog.  Her previous owners told us that if Zandee doesn’t get her quality time each day that
she will actually get depressed.  If you are searching for a sensitive yet loving friend Zandee is the one for you!

Reighn A107223
Reighn is one of the biggest success stories you will ever find.  Our humane agents brought her in because she wasn’t being
properly cared for.  Since then Reighn has become a staff favorite here.  She loves to curl up and sleep with her stuffed pink bunny. 
If you have room in your home and heart for this sweetie pie (and an endless supply of stuffed pink bunnies ) then Reighn is the
dog for you.  Reighn will be having her hind leg amputated in the near future as a result of an injury but we are sure this won’t
slow her down one bit!

Isis A114645 is your typical wiggle butt Pit Bull terrier.  She is happy to meet everyone and she enjoys cuddling up with that special
someone.  She is a quick study and already knows sit and down.  She is eager to please and ready to roll.  If you are searching for
a family friendly addition look no further, Isis is the dog for you!
