If you are looking to run the full marathon, 1/2 marathon, 5K, children's marathon or put together a marathon relay team all while raising money for Pittsburgh's homeless pets, then we need you!
The 2012 Pittsburgh Marathon raised over $56,000 for the homeless animals here at WPHS. With a large portion of that money, we were able to purchase additional cages and hire an additional staff member to expand our offsite adoption efforts. In the 2012 fiscal year, we adopted out over 1,500 cats and kittens from our offsite locations. That means an additional 400+ lives were saved in 2012. Our runners fundraising efforts from the Pittsburgh Marathon helped us to achieve this. Lets work together in 2013 to raise over $100,000 for the animals of the Western PA Humane Society!
Will you join us in 2013 by running the Full Marathon, Half Marathon or Marathon Relay on May 5th or running the 5K, or the children's marathon on May 4th?
