Can you picture your dog visiting nursing homes? Or all ears at the library while children are reading?

Western PA Humane Society – GET SMART! Training Centers offer CGC &TDI testing.

CANINE GOOD CITIZEN (CGC): CGC test is designed to recognize dogs that have good manners at home and in the community. All dogs who pass the 10 step test may receive a certificate.

Dogs & puppies with completed immunizations & boosters may be tested (no age limit)

THERAPY DOG INTERNATIONAL (TDI): TDI registration is a natural extension of the CGC for dogs who are particularly sensitive and attentive to people. All dogs are tested by Certified TDI Evaluators.

Dogs must be a minimum of one year old to be tested

TEST DATES & LOCATIONS:

Saturday, July 7, 2012 – begins 8:00 am

On day of test, you must bring: dog's comb or brush, handler's driver's license and payment

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Completed application, copy of paper proof of current dog's
license & current rabies certificate must be received by
Friday, June 29, 2012.
