Spay and Neuter Program

If you pet is healthy and current on a veterinary exam and vaccinations, you may call to schedule their spay or neuter surgery appointment at our facility. Vaccine records may be faxed to our office, or can be dropped off at the shelter. For dogs, the Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordatella vaccines must be current prior to scheduling surgery. For cats, the Rabies and FVRCP vaccines must be current.

If your animal is not current on vaccines according to our guidelines, a pre-surgical visit can be scheduled at our Wellness Clinic. Although it is not required for fully vaccinated pets, a pre-surgical exam at our facility can be beneficial. Here are some reasons why:

• Our Veterinary Team will get to meet with and exam your pet prior to scheduling surgery
• We offer Pre-Anesthetic Blood Screens. This can alert our vets on your animal's current health status and allow them to tailor the anesthesia to their individual needs and take extra precautions when necessary
• Additional services such as deworming, Heartworm testing, and FELV/FIV testing can be offered

Note: If your animal is 6 years of age or older, a pre-surgical exam with a pre-anesthetic blood screen MUST be scheduled prior to scheduling surgery

Please understand that your pet's health is in our best interest. If your pet is not healthy or appears to be an anesthetic risk at their spay/neuter appointment, surgery will not be performed and you will be called to pick up your pet.

Feline Surgery Prices

• Feline Neuter: $60

Rabbit Surgery Prices

Although we do not see rabbits for regular veterinary care, we do still offer spaying and neutering services!

• Hernia Repair:$10
• Cryptorchid:$35
• Pregnant:$15 (feline) $25 (canine)
• Dewclaw removal (owner request):$35 per dewclaw
• Retained deciduous canine extraction (owner request):$10 per tooth
• Flea Treatment **:$14-17 (prices vary upon weight)

**Any patient found to have live fleas on them will be treated to prevent contamination of our facility and other patients
