Owner-Requested Euthanasia

At the Western PA Humane Society, we are here for you when the time comes that you must make the difficult choice of putting your animal to sleep. If you want to be with your animal - you must make an appointment through our clinic. However, if you do not want to be with your animal, we can do it through Intake. Please exhaust all options prior to your arrival such as contacting our behavior department or our Wellness Clinic. You should also research if you would like to bury your animal in our Elizabeth Cemetery or cremate your animal via local companies.

The prices for this service are as follows:

• Cat = $40.00
• Dog < 25 pounds = $40.00
• Dog > 25 pounds = $60.00
• Aggressive animal = $80.00

Pennsylvania law states that we are unable to euthanize animals who have bitten anyone in the previous 14 days.
